The Centre for Financial Capability were delighted to be invited to present to the Financial Inclusion Commission. The Financial Inclusion Commission is an independent body of experts from financial services, businesses, the charity sector, academia and parliamentarians. The aim of the Financial Inclusion Commission is for a financially inclusive UK where financial services are accessible and easy to use for everyone.
Carol Knight, Trustee of the Centre for Financial Capability, delivered the presentation, which was followed by a round of questioning. The members of the Financial Inclusion Commission were very impressed with the work of the centre and everyone agreed that the importance of financial education for young people.
